engineering background in biotechnology or programming and a successful experience in bioinformatics

Description

We are seeking a talented, experienced (3+ years) bioinformatician interested in
contributing to the development of novel immunotherapies. We seek an individual
with good fundamental technical skills in bioinformatics, able to autonomously write
code and analyze omics data on an HPC environment, with a solid background in
bioinformatics, programming (preferably python), statistics, and basic understanding
of biology.
The successful candidate will participate to the in-silico identification of promising
targets, particularly in transposable elements, develop bioinformatics pipelines to
analyze large-scale omics datasets, run statistical analyses to extract insights and
interpret results, and participate in the development of internal tools to help the
development of effective therapeutic vectors, in particular for cancer vaccines and
cellular therapies.
A good dose of curiosity is needed, in particular to propose novel methods at the
frontier of modern bioinformatics, to understand the complex biology of the immune
system and cancer, and to collaborate with a very interdisciplinary crowd (cellular
biologists, oncologists, immunologists).
