Job Summary:
We are offering a position for a highly qualified scientist as an assistant to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Bioinformatics and Biostatistics.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist the CTO in the daily management of ongoing projects and tasks, providing your expertise.
- As a senior scientist, you will play a key role in the development and validation of our internal research and development (R&D) projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in bioinformatics, biostatistics, and related fields to incorporate innovations into our projects.
- Work closely with our clients to understand their specific challenges, design tailored analysis strategies, rigorously analyze their data, interpret results, and communicate transparently at every stage of the project.
- Contribute to the specification, development, and validation of cutting-edge software solutions.
- Help develop our software platform to create innovative diagnostic solutions.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or computational biology.
- Experience in bioinformatics and biostatistics with a solid biological understanding.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, R, Python, and relevant bioinformatics tools.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting high-throughput sequencing data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain concepts and results to clients.
- Familiarity with medical diagnostics and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485) would be a plus.
